on reflection

i haven't written in this for a while. i find that i haven't spent much time lately reflecting... and thus, i have nothing really to write.

as i was searching for a verse to add to this entry, i stumbled across this. i always thought reflection was a necessary part of growth and maturity, and thus, an important part of life. but this verse seems to give a different perspective... interesting...

Moreover, when God gives any man wealth and possessions, and enables him to enjoy them, to accept his lot and be happy in his work-this is a gift of God. He seldom reflects on the days of his life, because God keeps him occupied with gladness of heart.
